Beyond the hotel · beyond the brochure
Connected visitor demand. Unified distribution. One intelligence layer for every business in the journey — from the first dream to the final souvenir.
Today, destinations cannot see themselves. Visitor data arrives months late, in a PDF. Partner businesses run in silos. There is no platform — and no AI — that lets a region understand its own demand while it’s happening. MAIIA changes that.
Real-time destination management is, in 2026, still impossible. No platform exists. No AI is listening. Visitor statistics are fragmented, manual, annual. Partner businesses run in silos that have never been connected. MAIIA is the first enabling platform built to fix this — for the destination, not just the hotel.
The gap nobody talks about
Real-time platforms
0
No single tool today shows a destination its live demand.
The data exists. It just lives in 30 different silos.
Reporting lag
12mo
Most regions still see their tourism data once a year — when it’s already old.
Decisions are made on a snapshot from a season that no longer exists.
Manual effort
100%
Every count, every report, every alignment between partners is hand-stitched.
Destination staff become spreadsheet operators instead of strategists.
AI in the loop
0
There is no AI layer that listens to guests across the whole destination.
And no marketplace that distributes the destination’s full offer.
From static to actionable data
The contrast is not subtle. Old destination management is a snapshot you receive too late. The new one is a feed you can act on while it still matters.
The way it works today
The way MAIIA enables it
A platform with three winners
A destination intelligence layer only works if it makes every actor better off. Here is what each side gains the moment they connect.
Hotels gain
Destination partners gain
DMOs & municipalities gain
The destination intelligence layer
Hotels. Tourism boards. Municipalities. And every partner that makes a destination worth visiting — tour operators, rentals, transfers, souvenir shops, restaurants, clubs, clinics, insurers, wellness studios, and event organizers. MAIIA connects all of them into a single intelligence and distribution layer.
The hub is the intelligence. The satellites are the destination. MAIIA is what connects them — in real time, in every guest’s language.
Destination Pulse
Every guest interaction across every connected business becomes a signal. MAIIA aggregates these signals into a destination-level dashboard that shows occupancy, demand patterns, language mix, and gaps in supply — in real time, not next year.
Top-searched experiences · last 7 days
Supply gap alerts
Each alert is a partnership opportunity — the destination’s growth list, written by guests.
Mockup. Live dashboards are configured per destination during onboarding.
One marketplace · every category
We are the unique marketing and distribution platform for the entire destination offer. Hotels are not selling rooms anymore — they are selling the destination. And every business that makes the destination worth visiting can plug in.
Walking tours, day trips, guided heritage walks, food tours, photography tours.
Apartments, villas, boutique stays — surfaced inside the destination’s booking layer.
Airport pickups, intercity transfers, daily car rentals, private drivers.
Local kitchens, fine dining, cafés, bakeries — booked at the moment of intent.
Massage, yoga, hammam, day-spa rituals — discoverable from any property.
Beach clubs, lounges, music venues — booked, not just listed.
Local crafts, designers, regional products — distributed as part of the journey.
SIMs, eSIMs, currency exchange, gear rental, laundry, lockers — everything friction-removing.
Dental clinics, urgent care, pharmacies, telehealth — visible the moment a guest needs them.
Travel insurance, day-event coverage, vehicle insurance — sold inline at the right moment.
Festivals, concerts, sport events — destination-level distribution, not silos.
Bike rentals, scooters, boats, e-mobility — surfaced where the guest is, not where the operator is.
Demand-driven growth
Today, destinations grow by guess. Decisions about which experiences to build, which markets to target, which gaps to fill — all made on lagging data and political instinct. MAIIA inverts this. Guests show the destination where it should grow, in real time.
01
Guests speak — the destination listensEvery conversation across every connected business is a signal. What guests ask for. What they cannot find. What language they use. What they would pay more for. The destination can finally hear itself being asked.
02
Supply gaps become an open callWhen demand exists without an offer behind it — Italian guides, early transfers, pet-friendly venues — MAIIA turns that signal into an explicit invitation. The destination’s growth list is written by guests, not by committee.
03
New partners onboard where it mattersPartners apply to fill the gaps. Each new partner enriches every guest journey from day one — because the platform already knows where to recommend them, in which language, at which moment of the journey.
For the first time, a destination can grow according to its own demand — not according to last year’s budget cycle.
How a partner joins
Becoming a destination partner is intentionally simple. We onboard partners who can serve guests reliably — and once you’re in, your offer is surfaced to the right guest, in their language, at the right moment of their journey. No generic listings page — a real distribution layer.
Submit your business and destination through the partner application below. Tell us what you offer and where.
We review your fit for the destination network — quality of service, licensing where required, and complementarity with existing partners.
Your offer, prices, languages, and availability are structured into the destination CMS — the same content layer hotels and AI agents read from.
Your business is now discoverable across every connected hotel, every AI conversation, and every guest journey in the destination.
Apply to become a partner
We invite partners from destinations to apply. If you run a tour company, a clinic, a transfer service, a club, a souvenir shop, an insurance brokerage, a rental, or any business that makes travel in your destination better — we want to hear from you.

Questions destinations & partners ask
A DMO website is a brochure. MAIIA is the platform that makes a destination act in real time. The DMO website tells visitors about the destination once. MAIIA actively distributes it across hotels, AI assistants, and guest journeys — and feeds back live demand signals you can act on. The two coexist; many DMOs use MAIIA as the operating layer behind their existing site.
They already share the destination. MAIIA does not pool revenue, pricing, or proprietary intelligence between hotels — each property owns its data, its rates, and its guest relationship. What is shared is the destination knowledge layer: attractions, partner offers, language coverage, and demand signals. Hotels compete on hospitality. The destination cooperates on infrastructure.
Each business owns its own data. Hotels own their guest conversations and reservation data. Partners own their offers and bookings. Destinations get aggregated, anonymized signals — not personal-identifiable data. This is enforced by design, not a policy footnote.
Pricing depends on category. Venue-style partners (clubs, restaurants, clinics, retail, insurance) typically join on a transparent listing model scaled to the number of properties they want to be distributed across. Bookable items where MAIIA enables the transaction (tours, rentals, souvenirs, transfers, ticketed experiences) operate on a modest performance share that is split with the hotel that delivers the guest — keeping incentives aligned across the network. Specifics are shared during the application review.
Because the hotel is the trusted point of contact with the guest. The Guest App, the AI Concierge, and the on-property staff are what convert a partner offer into an actual booking — and that work deserves to be paid. Our split model gives every hotel a real reason to surface high-quality partner offers in the guest journey, instead of the silence you get from purely listing-based platforms. The destination wins because guests are introduced to more of what's there; the partner wins because intent reaches them; the hotel wins because the offer monetizes the journey, not just the room.
MAIIA distributes inside the destination, at the moment of intent — when a guest is already on a hotel website, talking to an AI assistant, or staying in your destination. OTAs distribute before arrival, on price and inventory. We are complementary. The difference is the moment, the personalization, and the fact that MAIIA visibility is part of the destination's own infrastructure — not rented from a third party that has no stake in your region.
No. We work with regions of all scales — single-town destinations, coastal regions, multi-city DMOs, national tourism organizations. The platform scales to the destination, not the other way around.
About one week from approved application to live distribution: 3 days for verification, then 2–4 days to structure offers and content into the destination CMS. Partners with simpler offerings (e.g. single-tour operators) can be live faster.
Talk to us about deploying MAIIA at destination scale. DMO and tourism-board partnerships are how the platform unlocks the most value — a destination where hotels, partners, and the public body share one intelligence layer is what we mean by "destination operating system."
