Does MAIIA replace a booking engine?

No. WSA qualifies the need, recommends the verified product and opens the correct booking destination. The booking engine remains authoritative for live inventory, rates, policies, payment and confirmation.

Why is A2A different from a normal PMS integration?

A PMS integration lets the vendor’s own product use hotel-system data. MAIIA A2A additionally lets external AI agents discover declared hotel-commercial capabilities and call them through a public agent card and authenticated protocol interface.

Is this a universal ranking of every deployment?

No. Public implementations vary. The comparison reports what was reproduced in named tests, what vendors publicly document and what was not found. “Not demonstrated” does not mean technically impossible; it means a buyer should require proof before purchasing.
