This Cookie Policy covers the public marketing website at maiiahospitality.ai, operated by MAIIA Innovation Lab. Product surfaces (hotel chat widget and guest app) use minimal functional storage described in §6; hotel guest processing is detailed in the Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use browser localStorage / sessionStorage and, when you allow it, analytics tools that may set their own cookies. Together these help the site remember preferences and (if you consent) measure how the marketing site is used.

Only basic — Necessary storage plus PostHog (EU Cloud) in cookieless mode for anonymous page-view and traffic measurement (including AI-search referrers when the browser sends them). No analytics cookies and no session replay.
Accept — Optional cookies / localStorage for richer PostHog analytics (autocapture, clicks, form funnel events) and session replay on this marketing site only.
Customise — Opens detailed category preferences when available; until then, use Only basic or Accept, or contact us.

Until you choose, we may still run the cookieless basic measurement described above (see Privacy Policy §9). We do not use advertising cookies or social media tracking pixels on this site.

4. What we use

4.1 Necessary

maiia_website_cookie_consent in localStorage — remembers whether you chose Accept or Only basic (or a later category selection).
Google reCAPTCHA v3 — loaded when you use a lead form (contact, demo, AI readiness) to reduce spam. Delivered with Web3Forms for form email delivery. These are not advertising trackers.

4.2 Analytics (Only basic — cookieless)

PostHog (EU, eu.i.posthog.com) — privacy-preserving page views without storing PostHog analytics cookies in this mode.

4.3 Analytics & session replay (Accept)

PostHog cookies / local storage for richer events, autocapture, and optional session recordings on maiiahospitality.ai only.

5. How to change or withdraw

Use Cookie preferences in the site footer to reopen the consent bar.
Clear site data for maiiahospitality.ai in your browser settings to remove localStorage and cookies.
Browser controls can also block or delete cookies globally; some site features (forms, remembering consent) may then not work as expected.

6. Chat widget & guest app (brief)

The MAIIA chat widget and guest app use minimal storage to function (for example chat continuity in sessionStorage, language preference in localStorage, and short-lived auth cookies where the guest app is used).
